I know you're probably overwhelm by people looking for games, I just another; I'm looking for a game called "All The Kings Men" or somthing to that effect. It's a board game something like chess. I don't know much more 'cause I'm looking for a friend. If you have any idea who made it or where I might be able to find it that would be great. Thanks for your time.

(You're probably already swamped with responses for that one, but here goes:)

Regarding All The King's Men

This game was published by Parker Brothers in 1979. "Smess: The Ninny's Chess" is an anterior variant published in 1970 (also by Parker Brothers). The author is Reuben Klamer. Copies show up for auction on rec.games.board.marketplace now and then. Check the on-line shops like D'Antiques, too. Complete description and rules available on demand --you could easily make your own set!

I believe it was made by Milton-Bradley. I'm almost certain that it's out of print. The game featured three types of piece -- king, knight and archer -- and each square on the board had arrows indicating in which direction(s) a piece could move from it. I had a copy when I was young, and to my knowledge my parents still have that copy.

This game was published by Parker Bros. in 1979. An earlier version (same rules, different look) was called Smess. The movement of the pieces on a chess-like board was controlled by arrows printed on the squares.
